Yellow Rubber Tubing/Gaskets for Gramophone/Phonograph Soundboxes/Reproducers

This is a soft rubber tubing suitable for use as gasket in a variety of soundboxes. This gasket has a diameter of just over 3 mm, excellent material properties and a pleasant colour. Albeit slightly larger than a standard 3 mm gauge gasket, it fits well into many soundboxes using a 3 mm gasket due to the softness of the material. I have tested this gasket on a variety of soundboxes with good results. The material is both durable and compressible, with an excellent grip, and I imagine that its softness provides that all-important flexibility which is such an advantage in dynamic reproduction.

I have personally used this gasket in many of my soundboxes, and can attest to the good results--be assured of its compatibility with original soundboxes of many brands, such as Goldring, Limit, Columbia, &c. However, I advise that you always measure your original gaskets before ordering, to ensure a good fit.
The gasket is sold in lots of three pieces, each being about 35cm or 14 inches in length. This is enough for three soundboxes of an average circumference.
