Waters Integrity Thermabeam Mass Detector
For sale- a Waters Integrity System Thermabeam Mass Detector.
I am guessing that there is more to the Integrity “system” than just this piece, but I leave any questions of application to you to decipher.
I think this could perhaps be characterized as a Mass Spectrometer, but I don’t know that for sure.
Here is what I can say with a great deal of certainty- it is fitted with a Pfeiffer TMH 260 Turbo pump as you can see in the pictures.
Because of that I have chosen not to even try to power it up.
The last time I was selling a turbo pump I was severely chastised by the ebay audience for not having it attached to a roughing pump when I spun it up.
I won’t make that mistake again.
The surplus condition code indicated the unit should be functional, but that is less than an ironclad guarantee.
Better than nothing perhaps, but in the absence of actual testing the unit is sold as is, as described, with no warranty.
As I am asking about half of what the other Thermobeam piece on ebay is priced at, if repairs are required you should be able to cover them for the difference I would think.
This one looks nice but if it has any issues they will be yours to resolve, and no returns will be accepted.
The model number is shown as a TMD, part number WAT241200.
The other one listed on ebay has a slightly different part number, and it looks like that one has the Turbo Backing vacuum connection and Stage 1 and 2, whatever they are, on the front instead of the back like mine.
I will let you decide if that is important enough to pay double in your application.

I would estimate the shipping weight at roughly 150 pounds, which means it will cost about 5 to ship to a commercial location with a loading dock nearby on the east coast, maybe as much as 0 to the west coast, more if it is being delivered to a residence or a ways from the terminal.
I can provide a shipping estimate specific to your delivery, but only if I know the zip code and whether it is residential or commercial.
If you prefer to use another carrier that's fine but I will need a copy of the BOL emailed to me at LEAST the day before the pickup, which would be from a commercial location with a loading dock in 23093.
