Description
This is a specimen of the Famous Violin Beetle, Mormolyce phyllodes, from Indonesia. This beetle is just over three inches in length and is really a beautiful and unusual specimen. One of my personal favorites. This specimen is mounted in a glass topped frame that measures 4" X 5".But it now!
This is a non-CITES listed species, which means that it is not listed as a protected or endangered species. Please note: the specimens you purchase from me will smell of moth balls, as I fumigate my specimens with moth balls or moth crystals to drive away insect pests. This is a definite advantage to you. Even so, I cannot guarantee against insect pests (nor can anyone), and I cannot guarantee against shock in transit that would break antennae, legs, etc., even though I package my specimens with great care.
Please contact me about any issues before leaving feedback. I work very hard to earn your best feedback.
