Vintage Rosewood Jade Brass JEWELRY BOX Ornate Secret drawer

Beautiful vintage rosewood, jade, and ornate brass
findings jewelry box. The front doors open and there are
four drawers on the top with little leaf-like pulls. There is one
larger drawer at the bottom that opens with a brass
pull  and it has
a secret
drawer under its' top drawer.
The drawers are padded and lined with a delicate
red fabric. When closing the two doors, there used to
be a little bar to hold the drawers shut, but that is
missing now. There are carved pale green jade inserts on
the top, sides, and front. Also on the top is a brass pull.
This lovely box is in very good condition. I do note that
one of the brass nails has gone missing, see photo.The
last two photos show the drawer with the secret
compartment.
This little jewelry chest is marked Shangai, China on the
back. It is fairly heavy for its' size (5 lb, 9 oz) and that shows
how
well it is built.
