VINTAGE ORIENTAL DRAGON METAL BOX JAPAN

Description

VINTAGE ORIENTAL DRAGON BOX MIXED METAL - This lovely box is signed on the bottom Japan.  The box  displays a wonderful dragon on the lid with symbols for long life and good fortune I believe.  The sides are adorned as well with swallows and a floral motif.  The top and bottom pieces are not hinged - top sets nicely on the bottom piece. This is an old piece from maybe around the 1920s. Condition is Used. The box is lined in a thin wood liner material and the top and bottom have an old purple worn velour or velvet material liner on top of the wood.  This box measures 6" inches long by 3.25" inches deep (front to back) and 1 & 7/8" inches tall.
