Vintage Chinese Lacquer Domed Storage Hat Box w Gold Bats Unusual Shape Wedding

Description

This is an old lacquer storage box, app. 14 3/4 x 19 1/2 x 11 inches in size. Unmarked. Bat motif in gold & black on orange-reddish background. Unusual shape - previous owner believed it was a Chinese wedding box. Probably dates from the mid 20th Century.
Used condition - shows wear/losses/some cracks in lacquer finish; see all 12 pics
Items can be picked up in person at our office.
