Condition: Very good. Vintage. Marks, tarnish reflect age/wear. The inside has a piece of wood that is loose. I am not sure where it affixes as the box looks finished. Perhaps it goes over the hinge area. There is a very small piece that protrudes from back where hinge is. It is a bit sharp. See all photos.

Vintage Chinese brass and enamel trinket box with an oval floral design on top with four circular symbols on the corners of the top. The front of the box has three symbols and the short sides have one each. The back has a design in the brass. The box has a fish scale-like design in the brass and the rear side looks like it has two open-mouthed fish, although it could be something else. The box is lined with dark-stained wood.
