    Description

    Offered is the vintage Recoton Goldring type 500 Magnetic Turnover Phonograph Cartridge. It is offered in an Recoton carton.  This is a magnetic single channel (mono) type cartridge. It is used, but shows less then average wear. It is a turnover type cartridge for playing 78 speed records or 33/45 records.  The cartridge is basically clean with a little grime-not severe.  Both stylus look OK.  The 78 speed needle is a little off-center, but it should work OK like it is. The coil within measures 1.6K ohms on my VOM.  Untested otherwise.  Clean wiring lugs included-the cartridge lugs were once soldered but there is very little old solder residue on the lugs. Offered in original box with mounting screws.  The box shows mildew, but it is dry.  Pick up the uncommon cartridge for your own phonograph requiring an upgrade.  NO RESERVE!! Thanks for looking.
