Petri Petriflex 7 camera with lens - vintage Japanese SLR camera

Here is a Petri Petriflex 7 camera with serial number 565166.  The camera is marked "Made In Japan" on the bottom.  The exterior of the camera shows wear, but is still in generally good condition,.  The exterior is in definite need of a thorough cleaning.  Some light rub marks and small scratches on the top.  Some small rub marks and light scratches on the bottom.  One of the strap lugs is a bit loose.  The door of the film compartment opens, but is a little difficult to close, so this may need some adjustment.  The shutter of the camera appears to work, though the slower shutter speeds do stick occasionally.  Comes with a Petri Auto 55mm f1.8 lens with serial number 90876.  The exterior of the lens has some rub marks, but is generally good condition.  The lens has a Hoya UV.  The glass of the lens is also in generally good condition, though may have a few light scratches on the very front glass, and may benefit from a cleaning.  Might be a good restoration project.  The photos above are not the best, but we hope that they will help those who are interested.
