    Description

    Found in Maine…a vintage OLYMPUS OM-1 35mm MD SLR Film Camera W/ 2-Lenses, Manual, 2x Tele-Converter, comes in 1/2 bottom case (missing top piece)
    I cleaned it up the best I could…. Cosmetically, the outside looks good.. the 625 battery still seems to work, the light meter was responding when I moved both the aperture ring on the lens, and the shutter speed ring on the camera body…but I don’t know how accurate it is or how old the battery is! Shutter speed was working, self-timer working, etc…
    The camera does have a few “minor” cosmetic issues INSIDE the viewfinder:
    There is some mirror coating separation on the inside pentaprism…. So there is an aberration( not a crack or anything like that!) on the bottom of the focus internal screen view when you look through it… (see attached pic, I removed the focus screen to show this) doesn’t seem to interfere with your view when you’re focusing… and the actual focus screen has some old spots, rub-marks, etc.. but again… you can still work around those to focus!
    The nice part is these focus screens can be replaced, they are removable.
    Both lenses look good, the standard mounted lens is the Olympus Auto-S , F. Zuiko 50mm f/1:1.8 … the extra lens is a Third-Party MC SOLIGOR 90-230mm f/1:4.5 Zoom Lens… there is also a SOLIGOR 2x Tele-Converter included with case(case for this is a little old!)
    The manual is all there, but the cover has some old damage on it.
    All in all a decent camera.. if you don’t mind the minor spots inside the viewfinder!!! I don’t think that you could even repair this issue, since its not a fungus.. its the mirror coating separation on the prism…
