White SILICONE Rubber 1/8" Diameter Tubing
for Victor Exhibition and Other Reproducer Diaphragm Gaskets
    Sold In FIVE Foot Sections
If you need larger or smaller diameter tubing please ask ! ! !
This FIVE foot length of white silicone rubber tubing is suitable for use as diaphragm gasket material in many old phonographs, gramophones and Victrolas. This is top quality gasket tubing and there is nothing better. It measures 1/8" (outside diameter) and is very supple just like the Victor, HMV, Silvertone and other gaskets would have been when they were new. The thickness is ideal for most applications and the color is comparable to that of many original rubber gaskets. The rubber is supple, lightweight, and easily compresses to create an airtight seal around diaphragm edges when properly installed. Do not confuse this with the hard Teflon or shiny white plastic tubing that is often sold for gaskets. If

Applications: Victor Talking Machine, Victrola, HMV, Brunswick, Silvertone, and Many Others
Reality - This is supple silicone rubber tubing folks. It is softer than the stuff sold by others elsewhere and, unlike some of the gimmicks out there, ours is really made in the USA. The reality is that silicone tubing is a 20th century invention and has been around for decades. It is not something spectacularly new or earth shattering. Don't fall for gimmicks...ground yourself in reality. We have (and others have) used silicone rubber as well as the more commonly available white dyed natural/gum rubber compound (which isn't butyl, by the way) with equally great success.
