Entomology Goliath Beetle Shadowbox Assemblage Insect Taxidermy Display

"Nature's Inkblot" -- Truly, a one-of-a-kind piece. All insects used in this exhibit are certified 'A1' quality (i.e., wild caught, in excellent condition), the highest standard in collecting and displaying entomological specimens. All specimens were purchased from a reputable collector of 25 years in
Laguépie, France. I personally hand-staged each insect; glued onto a hand-crafted, bevelled and burnished swatch of vegetable-tanned rich full-grain leather. The wood-frame is a refurbished antique letterpress 'shadow box'. The addition of an 'ink blot' to one of the display boxes was created by pooling/folding a very small diluted solution of India Ink onto the page of an antique bookplate from the early 1800's.
In total, there are 36 insects, 3 of which retail between 0-0 due to their respective sizes, appx 69-88mm respectively.

14 Goliathus albosignatus kirkanus (male) 'Goliath beetle' - height appx 38/50mm
7 Anthribidae ssp from Morotai Indonesia (3 male & 4 female) - height appx 12/15mm
6 Stellognatha maculata 'Madagascar long horn beetle' (3 male & 3 female) - height appx 35/40mm
4 Anaplophora Asuanga 'long horn beetle' - height appx 40/45mm
2 Hegemus vittatus 'African scarab beetle (1 male & 1 female) - height appx 40/45mm
2 Goliathus orientalis (1 male & 1 female) - height appx 76/88mm!!!
1 Goliathus regius (male) - height appx 69mm

NOTE:
Purchase will include, as a complimentary gift, one smaller insect  wooden shadowbox-display assemblage, encased in glass. Subsequently, the two small doll-heads and mounted skull-piece are props only and thus NOT included in -or- part of this purchase.
