I created this Block years ago as a  high quality 9 hole tapping guide block for all your machining projects. This tapping block automatically keeps the tap perpendicular each and every time and helps prevents breakage and increases the tap life. HARDENING...This grade Steel 1018CR will respond to any of the standard carbonizing methods and subsequent heat treatments. For a hard case and tough core, the following heat treatment is suggested:Carburize at 1650
