Chinese Carved Jade Panels Trinket Jewelry Box Floral Vintage

Description

This is a vintage Chinese box with 4 carved jade panels,  4-5/8" x 3-3/8" x 2-1/8" high.  The condition is generally good.  I assume that the carved panel on top contains Chinese characters for good fortune, prosperity or similar.  The large panel on the top has an old hairline, but the other 4 side panels and solid panel on bottom are fine.  The side panels are carved with flowers and twining branches or stems.  The ornate frame is marked China on the bottom, and the frame looks like it may have been regilded at some point.
