This is an
Olympus OM-1N
Camera. It is in Fair condition. There has been a fair amount of paint wear, some of it has been retouched with black paint. The viewfinder is clear. The detachable hot shoe 4 has some cracks in the thin plastic bottom sections which 90% of them do. One of the very few design flaws Olympus made. The baseplate has a lot of scratches and has been retouched around the tripod hole. The film compartment is clean and the light seals are good.
The shutter trips reliably and the speeds progress as they should. The 1-second is accurate. The self-timer works and does not slow or stick at all. The film advance works although the lever does not spring back to position after advancing. The meter works and the readings seem reasonable. It reads within 1-stop in line with my DSLR. The camera comes with a strap and case.
The
Olympus Zuiko Auto-S 50mm f1.8 Lens
(Serial #5252346) is in Excellent condition. The glass is clear and unmarked. There is a fair amount of fine internal dust, no effect. The aperture blades are snappy and oil-free. The focus is smooth and well-damped.
This is a
manual focus
camera in the
OM
mount. It uses 35mm film.
