    Description

    Argus/Cosina STL1000 SLR camera with Cosinon 50mm f1.7 FAST prime lens.  Condition is Used.  Lens (M42 mount) is the less common f1.7 version.  Glass is clean, some dust, aperture blades dry, diaphragm opens and closes without issues.  The lens will work too on a DSLR with proper adapter (not included).  Shutter works at all speeds.  Shutter curtain intact.  Light meter tested with a 1.5 V battery (not included)  is very weak and basically non-functional.  Battery compartment is clean, no corrosion, and the cap unscrews easily.   Camera body (black) in decent condition, some nicks here and there but no major dents.  Nice brassing on the edges.  Light seals look ok but should probably be replaced at some point.  Viewfinder is fairly clean, some dust.  Mirror is fine.
