This is a nice antique brass Asian box with a removable lid (see photos). The item is made of brass with an enamel interior and decorated finish (see photos). The item is antique (see photos). The item has decorations on the sides and some inset stone (see photos). The item is old and it is from a nice estate. The item is marked on the back CHINA. The item is Chinese in origin (see photos and decide the age, the origin and the maker). The nice box in total measures about 3 and 1/2 inches high and it is about 7 inches wide. The item has a bend to the lid finial post, some dents, some finish losses, some losses to the interior lining enameling inside the box, a piece of brass missing on the inner underside rim of the lid with some wear from age and handling (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item). This is a nice old brass Chinese box to add to your collection.
