    Description

This is the personal custom made tool chest full of tools of Thomas E. Wood who was my great Grandfather. Thomas was the head honcho or the "Master Mechanic" of the Omaha & Council Bluffs Street Railway Company production and repair shops in Omaha Nebraska. The shops made new and repaired street cars. This chest was made by him I think in the late 1800's or the very early 1900's. The chest is 38" wide, 24" tall and 24" deep. There are a whole lot of tools that come with the chest and I will list some of them.
    Saws - Disston rip/cut 29" overall, (2) Warranted Superiors 23" overall.
    Back saws - 10" Disston, 12" Shurly&Dietrich, 12" Jackson, and  16" Disston.
Coping saw - 12" deep 6" blade Millers Falls
Keyhole saw with a 90 degree bend on the lower half, 8"
    Hacksaw - 12" no name
    Fret saw 8"
Drills - Millers Falls chest plate drill, 3 different hand braces one is Stanley, 2 Goodell &Pratt egg beaters one 15' and one 10".
    Monkey Wrenches (5) 12" ps&w,  12" no name, 10' Lamb &Sessions, 7' Stillson Wrench, and  8' Joes Wrench Company.
    Planes - 22' Craftsman corrugated bottom (icbb), Baily #4 9" smoothing plane, Baily #5 14", Stanly Baily #6 17", Bob Kaune 6 1/2".
Molding Shaper Planes - set of 24 hand molding planes.
This is just some of the tools .There are 6 soldering irons, 3 saw tooth setters, 2 pair of nippers, 3 furniture clamps, 3 big wooden mallets, draw knifes, spoke shaves, metal smoothing plane ( Petrograd ?), chisels, rasp files, sets of auger bits and on and on. There is more not listed and not mentioned but lets say it is a full chest.
I tried to get as many pictures on as I could but I have a lot more. I think the front of the interior drawers is birds eye maple but I don't know for sure.  I don't know if I got a lot of the names right or whatever but I would try to answer any questions if I can.
    Thanks for looking.
