Old Cinnabar Lacquer Box. Depiction of an Elder (teacher) and student on the lid.
Fine details even along the edges. Nice early box.
Size: All items shown against ruler or in hand or both in one picture to help you judge size. Measures approximately 4 inches long and 2 ½ inches wide and 1 ½ inches high.
Nice vintage condition as pictured. Signs of age and use, some scuffing and minor nicking to the finish on the inside (black) where the lid goes on. And a small chip at the base on one end, can be seen in picture number 4. Very nice for the age. Please see all the pictures as they are part of the description.
