ANTIQUE CHINESE HAND PAINTED PIG SKIN CHEST DOCUMENT BOX TRUNK POLYCHROME
11 x 6 x 4 1/2  Covering is actually sewn onto the outside of the box. Holes were drilled through the box and thread run through covering and box.   It does have some loss to the covering and color fading but no cracks in the wood.  This a very old box not a reproduction.  The cloth inside is possibly a linen but not certain.  Please use magnifier to examine each side of the box.  This was in the contents of shed I purchased that has been closed up for 35 years.  The contents are items from an antique store that was closed in the 1990s.  Many, many boxes left to go through.
