Shipping Information:
On what days do you ship?
We ship on Monday and Tuesday.  We do this to avoid having your mantis sit inside of a hot/cold truck all day on Sunday which is a day that the USPS doesn’t work.
Do you guarantee live arrival?
We will replace the mantis but you will need to cover shipping for the replacement.  It doesn't happen often but we want to be sure you get a healthy mantis.  Replacement shipping cost is usually - depending on location.
You must send us a clear photo of the mantis corpse on the shipping label within 2 hours of the package delivery date/time.
If we do not have the replacement mantis in-stock you can select a mantis of equal or lesser value.  Otherwise, we will refund the cost of the mantis.
We will replace the mantis once.
How are you packing the mantids with the weather and USPS delays?
We give the mantids food and water the night before they are shipped
We ship expedited using USPS Priority shipping.  Not First Class.
We add extra fruit flies to the shipping enclosure along with moisture in case the mantis molts during shipping.
We provide a 72-hour heat pack or a 48 hour NICE cold pack inside of the box depending on your weather
We use thermal reflective insulation inside of the box depending on your weather
In cases of extreme weather (Below 32F or above 90F) forecasted for the week, we will reach out to you to either (a) have the mantid picked up at your local post office or (b) chose another shipping date with better weather.  We can also just refund your order.

We ship from Chicago, IL 60609.
We ship to all 50 states, Puerto Rico, Guam, and other US Territories when you chose USPS.
