  • Condition: Good to Very Good previously owned vintage condition. No damage. I did not see signs of age or use worth noting other than some shelf wear and stains under the foot. The round shell has a sandy feel to the glaze on top on one side. See the photos.

    DESCRIPTION: Beautiful Vintage Pair of 2 Chinese Blue and White Seashell Form Trinket Boxes, Covered Jars. Circa 1960s, 1970s. The blue glazed tops have nice shell forms with the inside left unglazed. Blue underglaze artwork on the fully glazed bottom halves including large waves and seabirds on white porcleain with a dry foot and mouth. Great visual interest. See the photos.
    MARKINGS: Marked in blue underglaze for Zhongguo Jingdezhen as per the photos. See the photos.
    AGE: Circa 1960s, 1970s.
    ORIGIN: China.
    DIMENSIONS: The Conch Shell is Approx. 4.5” Long X 3.1" Wide X 2.6" Tall. The Other Shell is Approx. 4.1” Long X 3.5" Wide X 2.6" Tall.
