    Description

VICTOR VICTROLA PHONOGRAPH MOTOR, BOARD, AND SCREEWS MODEL VV-IXa WORKING but not working very well.  I think the spring needs work.  It will wind up but not much power and after a few winds it looses tension.
This is a Victor Victrola phonograph motor with mounting board and screws.   This one was made in about 1917 base on the plate ID, which is up for sale in another auction. The speed regulator appears to be in very good condition.  You are buying it AS IS, I cannot guarantee it will work after shipping.  The motor is over a 100 years old.  I will pack in a large box with lots of bubble wrap. Note other parts for this machine are up for sale in other auctions, this sale does NOT come with the crank handle.  Thanks for looking and God Bless.
    The
    VV-XI
    or
    "Victrola the Eleventh"
was Victor's top-selling machine of all time. Introduced in 1910 as a premium tabletop model, it soon transitioned into a fully enclosed floor phonograph that became Victor's #1 product during its 11-year production run. More than 850,000 VV-XI phonographs were produced between 1910 and 1921, outselling all other models by a wide margin.
